Who Can Exhibit at Experience Africa
Experience Africa is open to all levels of African & Indian Ocean Islands tourism product, DMC’s, activity providers, tourism boards and affiliated services wanting to connect with source market tour operators and agents. Exhibitors do not have to be ATTA® members to attend, however preferential rates apply to ATTA® members and priority will be given to ATTA® members wanting to attend. Feedback from previous events is closely reviewed and we aim to feature a mix of products and destinations that the buyer audience want to meet with. Key areas we will be looking to provide space for are:
- New products not featured at Experience Africa 2025
- Destinations including Egypt, Morocco, West Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands
- ‘Alternative Africa’ including lesser known or explored regions and tourism products and services.

Split Desk Tables
If you would like to share a table and split the number of meetings available with a co-exhibitor, you can apply under the Split Desk rate whereby each company has their own exhibitor profile and diary of appointments with 50% of the available slots (up to 21). Please contact us for more details on how to manage the split of appointments.
It is the responsibility of the applicant, to nominate the co-exhibitor that they plan to share the split desk with. It is not the responsibility of the organisers to find a co-exhibitor for an applicant.
Given the split desk arrangement, this registration category does not allow for individual brands to have more than one representative.
Terms & Conditions and Payment
Exhibitor Terms & Conditions are available here and will be shown in the application form. You will need to accept this to submit your application.
You will receive a copy of these via email on receipt of your application and, should your application be approved, you will also receive a copy of these on approval. Once your application has been approved you will be bound by the terms and conditions detailed. Should you wish to discuss any of the elements within the Terms & Conditions please contact our team directly on exhibitors@experienceafrica.travel
Once your application has been approved invoices will be raised for payment within 28 days.
Please Note:
- For any application made on the early booking rate, payment must be received by the date indicated on the invoice. If payment is not made by the due date, the rate will automatically revert to the standard booking rate
- Should the standard rate payments not be made by the due date, Experience Africa reserves the right to cancel your participation and offer the space to an applicant on the waitlist
Approval / Selection Process
As part of Experience Africa’s commitment to delivering a vibrant and dynamic show, consideration is given to the overall mix of exhibitors in attendance each year. To ensure the event reflects Africa’s diversity and vast range of experiences available individual applications will be reviewed and assessed in the context of the wider exhibitor offering.
On receipt of your application, you will receive notification that your participation is pending. During this time, we will review the details submitted and may contact you for further information or clarification.
Approved applications will be notified from 01 December onwards. Confirmation of approval will be accompanied by an invoice and terms & conditions.
Should your application not be successful, it is by no means a reflection on the quality of your product or services but rather that the event has already received many similar applications.
Meeting Selection & Diaries
Experience Africa runs on a pre-scheduled appointment format with a total of 42 pre-scheduled diary slots available with each exhibitor having access to 1 diary of appointments. All attendees are required to create a wishlist of buyers they would like to meet with at Experience Africa during the preferencing window. After the preferencing window closes, our meeting software will create a diary of appointments based on this wishlist, and those of participating buyers.
Meeting Preferencing Timeline
- 27 April - Meeting preferencing portal opens
- 25 May - Meeting preferencing portal closes
- 08 June - Final diaries delivered
Events Around Experience Africa
We will hold evening events after the meeting program concludes each day as follows:
- Monday – ATTA® for Action Awards
- Tuesday – ATTA® Summer Party
- Wednesday – Experience Africa Closing Drinks
All attendees are invited to attend the evening events.
If as an exhibitor you would like to host your own event, please consider either Sunday evening before the show or Wednesday evening after the show wraps up. If you would like to invite the hosted buyers to an event on Sunday evening ahead of the show please let the team know and we will gladly assist.
Partnership Opportunities
At Experience Africa there are several opportunities to elevate your brand exposure. These are not restricted to tourism boards so if you would like to get an added level of exposure or engagement either as your own brand or as a collection of brands, please don’t hesitate to get in contact to discuss the options.
Buyers Attending Experience Africa
Experience Africa 2026 will focus on inviting buyers from:
We are once again expanding the hosted buyer program which provides qualified buyers with accommodation for the duration of the show. Like the exhibitors, our buyers are carefully screened to ensure that meaningful and valuable meetings can take place. If you know of key buyers that should be invited to Experience Africa please let us know and we can personally invite them on your behalf or we can provide you with all the information you need to invite them directly.
In addition to our hosted buyer program, we also provide the opportunity for buyers to attend for 2 days of the show to balance their time away from their desks.
